Chapter 1 General Administration

Article 1

Purpose

The purpose of these Terms and Conditions is to stipulate the terms and procedures of use of all services provided by Joy's website (hereinafter referred to as Joy's website), rights, obligations, responsibilities, and other necessary matters.

Article 2

Effectiveness and modification of terms and conditions
  • 1. If you agree to the terms and conditions of this website, the terms and conditions apply preferentially to the activities of providing services and using your services.

If Joy amends the terms and conditions, the application date and the reason for the amendment will be specified and notified on the initial page of the website from 7 days before the application date to the day before the application date.   • 5. Matters not specified in this Agreement shall be governed by the Basic Telecommunications Act, the Telecommunications Business Act, the Information and Communications Ethics Committee deliberation regulations, the Code of Ethics, the Program Protection Act and other relevant laws.

Article 3

Definition of terminology
  • The definitions of terms used in this Agreement are as follows.
  • 1. User: A person who receives the services provided by the website according to these terms and conditions.
  • 2. Sign-up: Fill in the application form provided on the website and agree to the terms and conditions to complete the service contract.
  • 3. Member: Person who has registered as a member by providing personal information on the website and can use the service provided on the website.
  • 4. ID: Identification of users and combination of characters and numbers selected by users and given by the site to use the service.
  • 5.Password: A combination of characters and numbers selected by the user to ensure that the user and the member ID match and to protect their own confidentiality in communication.
  • 6. Withdrawal: The act of terminating the contract of use by a member

Article 4

  • 2. On the website, you can cancel the subscription for any of the following usage contracts.
  • 1) When applying under the name of another person
    2) When the contents of the application for the use contract are falsely stated or applied.
    3) When he/she interferes with the use of other people's website services or steals such information, etc.
    4) In the case of conducting acts prohibited by laws and regulations and these terms and conditions using the website.
    5) If the application requirements set on the other website are insufficient

Article 5

Consent to the use of membership information

  • 3. Members who apply for use under these terms and conditions are deemed to agree to the collection and use of the membership information provided on the application form on the website.

Article 6

User information security
  • 1. You are responsible for keeping the information you have entered confidentially from the moment you complete the subscription process for the homepage service, and you are responsible for all consequences of using the member's ID and password.
  • 2. The member is responsible for all management of the ID and password, and if you find that the member's ID or password has been used illegally, you must report it to the website immediately. All responsibility for not reporting lies with the member himself.

Article 7

Suspension of service

Changes and cancellations of services

  • 2. You must fill out the information required at the time of membership. In addition, information about you already provided must be maintained and updated to ensure accurate information, and members must not allow third parties to use their ID and passwords.
  • 3. Members shall not engage in any of the following acts in connection with the use of our site's services.
  • 1) The act of stealing the passwords and IDs of other members and using them illegally.
    2) The act of transmitting, posting, publishing, e-mailing, or other means of transmitting information that may be vulgar, obscene, insulting, threatening, or infringing on the privacy of another person.
    3) The act of disguising the source of the content transmitted through the service.
    4) The act of posting, publishing, e-mailing, or otherwise transmitting information that is not available by law or contract.
    5) The act of posting, publishing, e-mailing, or transmitting information infringing another person's patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, or other intellectual property rights.
    6) Posting, publishing, e-mailing, or any other form of recommendation, such as advertising, promotional materials, spamming, lucky letters, pyramid organization, or any other form of recommendation that is not approved by this site.
    7) Act of establishing or storing other users' personal information
    8) Acts for the purpose of criminal acts or related to other criminal acts.
    9) Good manners and other acts that harm social order
    10) Act of defaming or insulting another personally

Chapter 4 Other

Article 12

Prohibition of transfer

Article 13

Compensation for damages
  • 1. The website shall not be liable for any damages to members in connection with the services provided free of charge, except for criminal acts intentionally committed by the website.

Article 14

Indemnification clause
  • 1. If the site is unable to provide services due to natural disasters, wars or other force majeure equivalent thereto, the responsibility for providing services will be waived.
  • 2. This site is exempt from liability for damages caused by unavoidable causes such as maintenance, replacement, regular inspection, and construction of service equipment.
  • 3. This site is not responsible for any damage caused by a user's computer error, or if a member incorrectly enters his or her personal information and e-mail address and causes any damage.
  • 4. The website does not approve, oppose, or modify opinions expressed by members or third parties. In any case, the website is not responsible for any gains or losses incurred by the members depending on the information contained in the service.
  • 5. The homepage does not bear any responsibility for goods transactions or financial transactions between members or between members and third parties through services, and does not bear responsibility for the profits expected by members regarding the use of services.
  • 6. The homepage is not liable for damages caused by your intention or negligence among damages incurred to you in connection with the use of the service.

Article 15

Jurisdiction of a judge
  • 1. The laws of the Republic of Korea apply to disputes over the use of services between the website and users, and lawsuits arising from this dispute shall be filed with the courts of the Republic of Korea.
Supplementary provision, additional clause, subsidiary law
  • 1. These terms and conditions will take effect from March 1, 2022.
